About
Bleeding Heart Rum Company is the parent company of Don Papa, founded in 2012 by Stephen Carroll. Located on the island of Negros, nicknamed "Sugarlandia" for its vast sugarcane plantations, the distillery produces rums with distinctive aromatic profiles. The Don Papa brand pays tribute to Dionisio Magbuelas, a local hero of the Philippine revolution against Spain, nicknamed "Papa Isio".
